In the late 1970s a series of pod like buildings were constructed in New Taipei City as a new age resort for American soldiers doing their tour in the Far East, it was then immediately abandoned before even opening. It was abandoned for one simple reason: people keep dying in the resort. In fact, people keep dying outside the resort on the road that’s just passing by. People die everywhere around the resort.
